Hi Jenny, My husband and I are thinking of adopting a two year old autistic boy. He has been in the foster care system since birth. Do you think that with the correct physical therapy, following the diet you recommend, etc., that he will experience success as far as breaking out from within himself? I really want him to have a full life. We want a child so badly and will be working with MCCD in IL (Midwest Center for Children with Disabilities). We have a niece with Down's and a niece with IP63 so I am very familiar with children with special needs. However, my main concern is having a child that may never love me back. Am I feeling too selfish? We do not have many financial resources so if we decide to adopt this boy, this is it. Please be honest with me. Thank you for all you do. Kathy
