My holiday was spent inside. Both of my kids remembered to call me, and mom was here so I make chicken enchilada casserole. That's it! LOL

My poor mom is computer challenged and so she can't even sign in to support to her daughter's wackiness here. Got some great photos from our visit, and when I'm home I'm planning the slide show for you all to see. My (or "VIntage Inga's") family is pretty wacky too!

So you think I am FWTwins mom? Well maybe I am and maybe I'm not. But think about it.....wouldn't a good daughter invite her mother to her birthday party? I tried a bit of bribery and even that didn't seem to work.
I am a mom.....but FWTwins is not mine....although I would claim her, esp. when she gets famous and starts making all that money. I will DEFINITELY be her mom then............LOL. JK, FWTwins.

Well I am not as bad as some. I know some quilters / sewers who do not use their ovens and store fabric in them. Never look under my beds because they are packed with boxes that are overflowing with fabric and yarn.....but not my oven.
Other quilter / sewers use the trunks of their cars for storage. See? When you are truly addicted, you will search high and low for places to store.
I will admit to using the tubbie in my second bathroom for storage. I just pull the shower curtain and no one is the wiser. But bubble gum in the bathroom cabinet.....I just found that hysterical!

You're sounding like my mom again, CQ! Really! Her name is Cathy, she quilts AND has fabric EVERYWHERE!!! I'm visiting now and needed a Band Aid for one of my daughter's bug bites and found them with the chocolate chips-(probably because her 1st aid/pharmacy cabinet has fabric in it!!!) The great sense of organization I inherited from her (not as bad, though, thank goodness!)

You store bubble gum in your bathroom cabinets? Interesting.....
I hide fabric all over the place but never have thought of using my bathroom cabinets. Gosh all that unnecessary stuff in there.....toilet paper, towels, meds, extra shampoo...... I could get rid of that stuff and have empty shelves.....all for fabric......GREAT idea, fwtwins.

My guy is better at organizing than I am, but I surprised him last night when I cleaned out my bathroom cabinet in search of some bubble bath (just the motivation I needed!)
Nostalgic earlier this month as we approached 12 years of marriage, and what helps with stress and "clear-headed" organization today (still don't have all the answers, but on my way)-

Ok mister never fix it at home STILL hasn't fixed the cord on my vacuum. I think I may need to bet him with the chewed off half to get him to get r done. Well Cathy any luck with that maid ( DJnTysmom ) showing up to work yet. The slacker LOL

WELL I AM NOTICING! You are still invited to jump in your car and come over. I cleaned like a mad woman before everyone came but also hid a bunch of stuff so there is STILL plenty of cleaning that needs to be done. So no more ignoring.....get your rear in gear and head to my house! LOL
